Bad overall experience, customer service.was bad, heating wasn't working and when 2 people came to fix they had manners to even explain to us what problem was. 1 chair and 1 set of towels for 2 people sharing. 50 held until u leave to cover damage to room, we had to wait until they checked room to give money back, never ever asked this in any other hotel. They charge room service €10 if u want ice up to room. 2 good things, room size nice and food good.

We stayed here for one night just passing through. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The room was very comfortable. The shower was good. The breakfast the next morning was not great – no pudding, fried eggs, and the coffee machine was out of order. The other thing was, I did not understand why I had to give a €50 deposit in cash at the desk, even though I secured my booking with a credit card. I've never been asked for this before.

Me, my mother and sisters stayed here for at Patrick’s weekend to celebrate my birthday and watch the rugby. Hotel was nice, rooms were great and very spacious. Lovely big bed. We arrived early and was allowed to leave our bags in the foyer by the reception whilst we went to the city. Easy transport to the city. We paid €16 each for a leap card for three days which allowed us to use trains, trams and buses all weekend. There are frequent trains and buses every day (even on a Sunday). One bus every hour runs in the early hours of the morning so you can stay out until the pubs close and still get a bus back. Breakfast was lovely, one of the best I’ve had in hotels. Only downside was that we had to checkout by 12 but our hotel transfer wasn’t until 17:30 and the hotel would not allow us to store our bags in the hotel like they did when we checked in. As soon as you check out they don’t want to know. We had to take all of our luggage with us in to the city for a couple of hours to then catch the bus back to the hotel with our luggage to get our transfer. We asked if we could leave our luggage at our own risk but were told no. The guy at reception was quite rude about it tbh.

I have stayed in many hotels and I live locally in Ireland. This hotel insists on checking your ID and insists on taking a deposit. This is something to bear in mind. It doesn't make you feel welcome at all. I understand they have procedures but it's a put off for customers.

staff was really welcoming and helpful with giving us directions how to get to the hotel from the train station. beds were really comfy and the room was a good size same with the bathroom. room did get quite warm in the middle of the night so recommend opening a window during the night.
